Civil Engineer from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Master in Infrastructure Management from the Spanish Institution of Civil Engineering.

His 18 years of professional experience are largely devoted to transport infrastructure projects worldwide (mostly financing, but also conception, construction and operation, including quality and environmental & social management).

He joined the Bank in 2007 and has been involved in a number of large projects, several of them in the field of sustainable transport.
