Jesús Martínez, Head of Treasury and Finance at Iberdrola Group

Jesús Martínez has a degree in Economic Science and complementary studies in Business Science (Universidad País Vasco-UPV – Bilbao) and a Masters Degree in Finance (Universidad Comercial Deusto – Bilbao).

A large part of his professional career has been spent at Iberdrola in various positions of responsibility. In the last years has incorporated the green financing as an objective in the Financing policy of the group. Currently is member of the Board of Directors of Iberdrola Ingeniería y Construcción.

Martínez is member of the Iberdrola Pension Plan Control Commission and Founding member of the Spanish Risk Management Club.

He is also a frequent speaker at international conferences and seminars. In the last years a lot of them focus in Green financing and collaborator in financial publications with specialist articles.
