Luis Atienza, President of ARGO CAPITAL PARTNERS.

Degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Deusto.

Diploma in European and Master’s Degrees in Development Economics from the University of Nancy.

He has been a professor at the University of Deusto.

Among other public responsibilities, he was Minister of Economy of the Basque Government (1989-91), Secretary of Energy of the Ministry of Industry (1993-94), and Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1994-96).

In the business field, he has been President of Red Eléctrica de España, National Energy Networks Advisor (REN), Board member of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) and President of Very Large Power Grid Operators (VLPGO -GO15).

Currently, among other activities, he is a consultant in energy matters, President of ARGO CAPITAL PARTNERS and Minister of Energy Empresa Honduras.

He is a member of the Committee of Experts on Energy Transition Scenarios.
