Growing up till now I have been very aware of climate change and the effects the world is facing against it. Things such as global warming, rising sea levels and greenhouse gases. I remember being in my Geography class when I was in Year 7 and hearing my teacher say that “in 50 years time Fiji will be under water because of rising sea-levels”.  At that time I wasn’t so sure on how to feel or if the statistic I was given correct because it upset me knowing that my homeland was potentially going to be swallowed  by the ocean. But I now know as a member of the youth generation that my role is important to our future.
