A European lawyer, Hazel spent ten years in total working on European Affairs in Brussels, first of all in the European Commission’s DG Competition; as a consultant; and between 2016 and 2018 in the Brussels office of Iberdrola. She also spent 4 years working for Ofgem, in the Offshore Transmission and European Electricity Transmission teams. Hazel is now Head of Scotland and EU Policy with ScottishPower and leads on a number of Corporate projects in the climate change arena. She is attending COP25 on behalf of ScottishPower and is coordinating the activities of different ScottishPower businesses, including networks, renewables and retail businesses, to support the drive towards Net Zero.
