Isabel Garro, Founding Executive Director, United Nations Global Compact Network Spain.

She is also a representative of the Local Network Advisory Group of Global Compact. Since the beginning of the network in 2005, her work has been key for the creation and consolidation of the Spanish Global Compact Association, which today is the most important and the most active Network in the world with more than 2,600 participants.

Garro is an expert in the Ten Principles of the Global Compact and in the application of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the Spanish private sector. She is a regular speaker at national and international events about CSR, ethics and sustainable development.

Besides, she is a teacher at IE Business School. She is also founder and President of BOMA, a non-profit association, created in 2008 to promote development projects among disadvantaged groups in Kenya.
