Fernando Mudarra

Graduate in Economic and Business Sciences (University of Córdoba, ETEA) and Master in Economic Development in Latin America (ILPES-CEPAL, International University of Andalusia). His professional career is focused on the design, management and evaluation of international cooperation actions for different International Organizations.
He has held different positions both in field offices and at the headquarters of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), and in the State Secretariat for International Cooperation between 2009 and 2010. He has also gained extensive experience as a project consultant for different Spanish and international companies, related to strategic planning and the formulation of territorial and sectoral Development Programs financed mainly by the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, the European Union, and by different multilateral organizations and Latin American governments. In his more than twenty years of experience he has resided in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Cuba and Bolivia, and has carried out missions in all the countries of the region. He has combined his professional activity with teaching in different postgraduate courses taught by Spanish and International Universities. He joined the organization in 2015, linked to the strengthening of the impact of the cooperation programs carried out by the Foundation.

Governments must take courageous actions to go beyond the commitments of the Paris Agreement towards a greener economy. Time is now and if we do not move fast the times of regrets will begin soon. Civil society is ready but strong and brave leadership is needed.Fernando Mudarra - Ayuda en Acción
